PPP leadership welcomes her, vows to strengthen women’s role in politics

ISLAMABAD: Former President of PTI Women’s Wing Bannu District and former member of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) Nadia Khan has joined the Pakistan People’s Party. Nadia Khan took this decision while expressing confidence in the party leadership.
The joining ceremony was held at the Central Secretariat in Islamabad in the presence of Pakistan People’s Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Muhammad Ali Shah, Pakistan People’s Party Central Secretary Information Nadeem Afzal Chan and party leader Senator Rubina Khalid. On this occasion, Muhammad Ali Shah said that Nadia Khan’s joining the Pakistan People’s Party is a matter of pride for the party. Her joining is proof that the PPP believes in empowering women politically.
Central Secretary Information Nadeem Afzal Chan said that the joining of women in the Pakistan Peoples Party is a success of our party leadership and the Pakistan Peoples Party. Nadeem Afzal Chan said that we welcome Nadia Khan to the PPP.
Senator Rubina Khalid, while welcoming Nadia Khan on this occasion, said that the Pakistan Peoples Party always gives importance to the role of women. Nadia’s joining will further strengthen the organizational strength of the party. Nadia Khan’s arrival will bring new energy to the Women’s Wing of the PPP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the organization will become more dynamic. Former provincial minister Asia Jahangir and advocate Wahidullah Hashmi were also present on the occasion.
