Mortar Shelling from Afghan Side Injures Five Civilians in Angoor Adda

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A mortar shell fired from the Afghan side struck the house of local residents Karim Khan and Rehmatullah.
As a result of the mortar explosion, five individuals, including four children and one woman, were injured.* The injured children are aged 13, 10, 8, and 3 years old.
All the injured have been shifted to DHQ Hospital Wana.
The local residents have expressed deep grief and sorrow over this action from the Afghan side.
It is worth noting that just a few days ago, three people were injured in the same area due to unprovoked firing from Afghanistan.
The Afghan Taliban and their affiliated “Khawarij” (insurgent) elements have consistently targeted the general public to achieve their nefarious designs.
The Pakistan Army targeted the firing positions with both light and heavy weaponry. Following the retaliatory action by the Pakistan Army, the Afghan Taliban fled their posts.
