MARDAN: An awareness seminar on women’s education, economic empowerment, and talent development was organized under the auspices of The British School Mardan, drawing participation from a large number of teachers and female students.
Maria Mustafa attended the event as chief guest. Addressing the seminar, she stressed that women must be encouraged to build self-confidence in order to develop leadership qualities. She emphasized that equal opportunities in education and training are essential for young girls so they can contribute meaningfully to both family and national development.
She further said that such seminars and awareness sessions in educational institutions help promote confidence among female students, focusing on skills such as public speaking, decision-making, and team management. According to her, these skills enable women to actively participate alongside men in social and economic development.
The seminar also highlighted the importance of modern skill development and greater participation of women in educational, social, and economic sectors. Participants appreciated the initiative, terming it a positive step toward a more inclusive and progressive society.
