PESHAWAR: PESCO organized an e-court on Facebook yesterday in which electricity-related problems faced by hundreds of consumers were resolved on the spot.
During the e-court, Chief Operation Officer PESCO Engineer Gul Nabi Syed personally listened to the problems of the people and issued orders on the spot for their resolution. Representatives of all PESCO departments were also present to redress complaints.
Hundreds of consumers from across the PESCO region registered their complaints on Facebook. The COO issued instructions to the concerned officers and assured consumers of immediate resolution.
He also briefed the public about the ongoing operation against electricity theft across the province, highlighting that with public cooperation and the tireless efforts of PESCO staff, electricity theft has been significantly reduced, which will ultimately decrease load management.
Additionally, the COO urged consumers to pay electricity bills on time, install proper meters, avoid electricity theft, and save electricity.
