KARAK: Karak Police conducted a large-scale operation against illegal gold mining, arresting four suspects. According to details, under the special directives of District Police Officer Karak Shahbaz Elahi, Karak Police carried out a massive operation against illegal gold mining. DSP Headquarters Saadat Khan, district administration, and a large police force participated in the operation.
During the operation, action was taken against elements involved in illegal gold mining in various areas of Karak. The police registered four cases and arrested four suspects, while a large quantity of equipment and machinery used for illegal mining was also seized.
The local public expressed satisfaction and relief over the successful operation against illegal gold mining and praised the police’s action. Karak Police conveyed a clear message that a zero-tolerance policy would be adopted against elements wasting national resources, and those involved in illegal gold mining would not be given any leniency.
