BISHKEK: The organisers of the VI World Nomad Games have unveiled the official brand film, “The Call Begins Here,” launching a global promotional campaign aimed at showcasing Kyrgyzstan’s rich nomadic heritage and building international momentum for the 2026 Games, which are expected to attract participants from more than 95 countries.
The International Secretariat of the World Nomad Games released the official brand film on Friday, describing it as the opening chapter of the international communications campaign for the VI World Nomad Games, scheduled to be held in the Kyrgyz Republic from August 31 to September 6, 2026.
Titled “The Call Begins Here,” the film highlights the essence of the World Nomad Games as a unique global platform celebrating traditional sports, cultural diversity, and the living heritage of nomadic civilizations. Through striking visuals of Kyrgyzstan’s mountains, valleys, and ancient traditions, the film portrays how cultural values and ancestral customs continue to unite people across generations and national boundaries.
The production showcases the country’s breathtaking landscapes, traditional nomadic sports, and the communities that have preserved centuries-old customs, inviting global audiences to experience a culture where heritage remains an integral part of everyday life.
According to the organisers, the film will serve as the centrepiece of the Games’ worldwide promotional campaign. It will be featured across digital platforms, international media outlets, official presentations, and promotional events in various countries in the lead-up to the Games.
The VI World Nomad Games are expected to bring together more than 3,000 athletes, artists, scholars, and cultural representatives from over 95 countries, making it one of the world’s largest gatherings dedicated to traditional sports and nomadic culture. More than 600 accredited journalists from around the globe are also expected to cover the event.
Organisers said “The Call Begins Here” is more than a promotional film it is an invitation to the international community to celebrate the enduring spirit of nomadic heritage and witness how ancient traditions continue to inspire future generations through sport, culture, and shared human values.
