PESHAWAR: Hayatabad Cricket Academy Tigers registered a thrilling one-wicket victory over Hayatabad Cricket Academy Falcons in the Junior Under-15 Triangular Series match played at Hayatabad Cricket Academy, Peshawar.
Batting first, the Falcons posted a competitive total of 161 runs. Wahab top-scored with 35 runs, while Asad and Anas contributed 30 runs each. For the Tigers, the captain claimed four wickets, Owais picked up three, while Jawad, Haris and Hidayat took one wicket apiece.
In reply, the Tigers successfully chased down the 161-run target with nine wickets down. Jawad remained unbeaten on 48, while Ayan scored 35 and Mohsin added 25 runs. For the Falcons, Suleman took three wickets, Tufail claimed two and Mubeen chipped in with one.
The match was officiated by umpires Imran Shinwari and Ihtiram Afridi.
At the prize distribution ceremony, Administrator of Hayatabad Sports Complex, Abid Nazim, awarded cash prizes and trophies to the outstanding performers and appreciated the young cricketers for their excellent performances and sportsmanship.
