PESHAWAR: Another PhD has been successfully completed under the supervision of Dr. Umm-e-Kalsoom at the Department of Psychology, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar.
PhD scholar Zainab Waheed successfully defended her dissertation on the effectiveness of Virtual Reality-Based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) compared with traditional ACT for patients suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder. The external examination was conducted by Dr. Uzma Ali.
The research is expected to contribute to innovative mental health treatment and psychological research. Faculty members and researchers congratulated Dr. Umm-e-Kalsoom and Zainab Waheed on this significant academic achievement.
