UPPER DIR: A two-day free medical camp, organized on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Manzoor Ahmad Afridi in collaboration with young doctors from Aid International, provided free healthcare services to 1,272 patients in Kumrat.
Held at Government Middle School Jandrai, the camp offered free medical check-ups, medicines and consultations to hundreds of residents from Kumrat and surrounding remote areas.
The initiative aimed to improve access to healthcare in underserved communities while promoting volunteerism, social responsibility and public service among young people. Local residents appreciated the dedication of the doctors and volunteers for delivering quality healthcare services.
At the closing ceremony, District Youth Office Upper Dir representative Haji Akbar distributed certificates of appreciation and commemorative shields to the participating doctors and volunteers in recognition of their services. The organizers pledged to continue similar welfare initiatives to encourage youth participation in community service.
