PESHAWAR: An important meeting was held on Monday at Government City Girls College Gulbahar, Peshawar, under the chairpersonship of Principal Prof. Rabia Sikander. The meeting was attended by senior faculty members and the college’s administrative staff.
The participants held a detailed discussion on various matters concerning the overall infrastructure of the college, improvement of the academic environment, and the provision of better facilities for students.
The meeting reviewed issues related to the renovation and repair of classrooms, rehabilitation of different sections of the college building, cleanliness and sanitation, improvement of furniture, electricity and water supply, and other essential facilities.
The meeting also identified the college’s key infrastructural needs and existing challenges, while various proposals were presented for their timely and effective resolution. The participants agreed that strengthening the college’s infrastructure and providing modern facilities are essential for ensuring a quality educational environment.
On the occasion, Principal Prof. Rabia Sikander directed the heads of the concerned departments to identify all renovation and repair requirements on a priority basis and prepare a comprehensive plan.
She emphasized that available resources should be utilized effectively to ensure a safe, conducive, and student-friendly learning environment for both students and faculty members.
She further said that the development of the college, improvement in academic standards, and the provision of modern facilities remain among the institution’s top priorities, adding that every available resource would be utilized efficiently to achieve these objectives.
