NOWSHERA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders and workers gathered in Nowshera Cantt to commemorate the third death anniversary of veteran party leader and former provincial minister Liaquat Shabab.
The event was attended by senior PPP leaders, including former KP Governor Barrister Masood Kausar, PPP KP Senior Vice President Syed Ayub Shah, MPA Nilofer Babar, and other party office-bearers. Speakers paid tribute to Shabab’s lifelong services to the party, describing him as a dedicated worker who remained committed to the ideology of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto despite imprisonment during the military regime.
The gathering also observed Youm-e-Siah (Black Day), while speakers stressed party unity and urged the provincial leadership to resolve internal differences to strengthen the PPP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
