PESHAWAR : The Federal Government has appointed Bahlol Khattak, Judicial Member of the Federal Service Tribunal, as the Acting Chairman of the Tribunal until further orders. The Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a formal notification in this regard, authorizing him to perform the Tribunal’s administrative and judicial functions until the appointment of a permanent chairman or further instructions.
According to the official notification, the additional responsibility has been entrusted to Bahlol Khattak following the completion of the constitutional tenure of the Tribunal’s Chairman, Justice (Retd.) Rooh-ul-Amin Khan. Justice (Retd.) Rooh-ul-Amin Khan completed his prescribed term in office and subsequently retired from the position.
It is pertinent to mention that Bahlol Khattak had been serving as Judicial Member of the Federal Service Tribunal and will now discharge the responsibilities of Acting Chairman until a permanent chairman is appointed or further orders are issued.
