KOHAT: Hafiz Anwaar Saeed Qureshi of Kohat has successfully defended his PhD thesis in mathematics, earning praise from examiners who described the work as a significant contribution to the field.
The defense was evaluated by a panel including Prof. Dr. Dilawar Khan (Kohat University), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Adil Khan and Dr. Akbarzada (University of Peshawar) and Dr. Farhad Ali (Kohat University). The committee unanimously approved the thesis.
Qureshi’s research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Abdul Saboor, who guided him through the process. Qureshi credited his success to the support of his parents and teachers.
Belonging to a prominent local family, Qureshi is the son of former Information Department official Muhammad Saeed Qureshi, brother of Regional Information Office Kohat superintendent Ansar Saeed and grandson of the late cleric Maulvi Mir Badshah.
Community leaders hailed the achievement as a source of pride for the region and an inspiration for young scholars.
