DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Acting Vice Chancellor of Gomal University, Prof. Dr. Naimatullah Babar, called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi to discuss the university’s severe financial crisis, including the shortage of funds for salaries and pensions.
During the meeting, Governor Kundi described Gomal University as a valuable asset of the region and expressed concern over its financial difficulties. He stressed that all stakeholders must work together to resolve the institution’s challenges.
The governor emphasized the importance of safeguarding the dignity of teachers and employees while ensuring their issues are addressed. He appreciated the efforts of the Acting Vice Chancellor to overcome the university’s problems and assured him of his full support in resolving the crisis.
