DERA ISMAIL KHAN: District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan, Ziauddin Ahmed, visited Aijaz Shaheed Police Lines, University Police Station, and the inter-provincial Darya Khan Bridge check post to review security arrangements across the district.
Accompanied by SP Headquarters Jaleel Imran Ghalzai, the DPO inspected security measures and defensive positions at Police Lines and directed personnel to remain vigilant and prepared for any emergency.
During his visit to University Police Station, he examined security arrangements, daily diaries, official registers, records, and CCTV surveillance systems. He instructed officers to ensure accurate record-keeping, maintain high security standards, and further improve public service delivery.
The DPO also inspected the inter-provincial Darya Khan Bridge check post, where he directed officials to strengthen vehicle inspections and closely monitor cross-provincial movement to prevent the movement of criminal elements.
He reaffirmed that all police officers and personnel must perform their duties with dedication to further strengthen security across the district and ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
