ISLAMABAD: The Consortium for Asia Pacific and Eurasian Studies (CAPES), Islamabad, and Nightingale Int., Almaty, Kazakhstan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during an online ceremony to strengthen research cooperation and academic collaboration on Eurasian and international affairs.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Faisal Javaid, Senior Vice President of CAPES, and Mr. Eldaniz Gusseinov, Head of Research at Nightingale Int.
The partnership aims to promote joint research projects, policy briefs, co-authored publications, conferences, webinars, and scholarly initiatives focusing on Eurasia, regional connectivity, geopolitics, and emerging international issues.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Faisal Javaid said the agreement marks a significant step in expanding research cooperation between Pakistan and the Eurasian region, creating opportunities for academic exchange and evidence-based policy recommendations.
Mr. Eldaniz Gusseinov welcomed the collaboration, saying it would strengthen policy-oriented research, encourage knowledge sharing, and produce high-quality analysis on regional and global issues.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Sundas Khizar, Research Fellow, and Mr. Sharjeel Siddiqui, Research Assistant, representing CAPES.
Both organizations expressed confidence that the partnership will foster long-term academic cooperation and contribute to informed policy discussions through collaborative research and knowledge exchange.
