All Pakistan Full Contact Karate Championship Concludes in Swat

PESHAWAR: The All Pakistan Full Contact Karate Championship, organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Full Contact Karate Association in collaboration with the Regional Sports Office Malakand (Swat), Crown Micro Global, and Alkhidmat Foundation, concluded successfully in Swat with enthusiastic participation from male and female athletes representing different regions of Pakistan.
In the overall team standings, Headquarters Peshawar claimed the championship title with 55 points, while Islamabad and Landi Kotal shared the runners-up position with 42 points each. Lahore, Punjab, finished third with 39 points.
The officiating panel included Sensei Khurshid Shabab, Sensei Hayat Nazir, Shams-ul-Arifeen, Basir Shabab, and Aanas Alam, while the Supreme Jury comprised Shihan Sahibzada Al-Hadi (Peshawar), Shihan Khalil-ur-Rehman (Karachi), Shihan Muhammad Azam (Wah Cantt), and Shihan Intikhab Alam.
Results


35kg: Muhammad Sinan (Headquarters Peshawar) – Gold; Abu Talha (Headquarters Peshawar) – Silver; Ahzam (Karachi, Sindh) – Bronze.
45kg: Abdul Rehman (Headquarters Peshawar) – Gold; Fawad Ali (Headquarters Peshawar) – Silver.
55kg: Muhammad Zaid (Headquarters Peshawar) – Gold; Sudais (Landi Kotal) – Silver; Mutahir (Lahore, Punjab) – Bronze.
65kg: Abid Raza (Mangal Academy Khyber) – Gold; Nigar (Landi Kotal) – Silver; Saeed Khan (Islamabad) – Bronze.
Open Weight: Tahseen Ullah (Landi Kotal) – Gold; Abdul Malik (Islamabad) – Silver; Ali (Landi Kotal) – Bronze.
The opening ceremony was graced by Regional Sports Officer Dr. Hazrat Ullah Khattak, while the closing ceremony’s chief guest was Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohib Ullah Yousafzai. The guests distributed medals and trophies among the winners and appreciated the efforts of Championship Organizer Shihan Sahibzada Al-Hadi for promoting karate and providing healthy sporting opportunities for the youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohib Ullah Yousafzai praised the organizer’s dedication and emphasized that engaging young people in healthy sporting activities is the need of the hour, adding that such initiatives play a vital role in nurturing talent and promoting a positive sporting culture in the country
