PESHAWAR : Pakistan Television (PTV) Peshawar Centre has officially launched a modern and high-quality podcast series aimed at promoting national and regional languages, culture, and a positive national narrative through contemporary digital media.
The initiative reflects the vision of Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Managing Director of Pakistan Television Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil to deliver meaningful, high-quality programming through modern communication platforms.
The podcast has been launched under the leadership of Ibrahim Kamal, General Manager of PTV Peshawar Centre and Head of PTV National and PTV Bolan. It is hosted by young journalist Sajid Sultan. The primary objective of the program is to invite distinguished personalities from various walks of life to share their experiences, achievements, ideas, and professional journeys, thereby promoting knowledge, awareness, and positive thinking in society.
The first episodes have already been recorded and feature exclusive interviews with Pakistan’s former World Squash Champion Qamar Zaman and former General Manager of PTV Peshawar Centre Abdul Qayyum Hoti.
According to the management, upcoming episodes will feature bureaucrats, artists, actors, writers, poets, authors, sportspersons, educationists, intellectuals, social figures, and other distinguished personalities. The podcast aims to provide viewers with insightful discussions on academic, literary, cultural, social, and national issues.
The podcast is produced by Faisal Rehman Khalil, while IT Manager Ahmed Ali is overseeing production and post-production. Syed Kabir Ali Shah is serving as the cameraman, with Syed Rahat Ali Shah also playing an important role in the project. The podcast set has been designed by Quresh Khan Afridi, whose creative expertise has enhanced the program’s visual appeal and overall production quality.
The podcast will soon be broadcast on PTV National, offering audiences informative and engaging discussions on a wide range of topics. The initiative reflects Pakistan Television’s continued commitment to promoting national and regional languages, culture, and positive social values through modern media.
