PESHAWAR: Hamza Foundation has appealed to the public to come forward with blood donations and financial assistance for 26-year-old Thalassaemia Major patient Rehanullah, a resident of the remote area of Timergara, Lower Dir, who has been battling the disease for the past 15 years.
Rehanullah requires regular blood transfusions every 10 to 15 days to stay alive and has been receiving life-saving treatment at Hamza Foundation. Unfortunately, there is no blood transfusion facility for Thalassaemia and hemophilia patients in the hospitals of Timergara, forcing patients to travel long distances for treatment.
Hamza Foundation has become a beacon of hope and a second home for thousands of Thalassaemia Major and hemophilia patients across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by providing regular blood transfusions and quality care.
The Foundation urged philanthropists, blood donors, and charitable organizations to support Rehanullah and other patients by donating blood and contributing financially to ensure uninterrupted treatment.
“Rehanullah has the same right to live a healthy and dignified life as every other human being. With timely blood donations and public support, we can help him continue his fight against Thalassaemia,” the Foundation stated.
Hamza Foundation reiterated its commitment to serving Thalassaemia and hemophilia patients and called upon society to join hands in giving hope and saving lives through voluntary blood donation and humanitarian support.
