JHELUM: Deputy Commissioner Jhelum, Mir Raza Ozgan, visited the Safe City Center today where District Police Officer (DPO) Jhelum, Tariq Aziz Sandhu, welcomed him and provided a detailed briefing on the modern monitoring system, CCTV camera network, and emergency response mechanism.
According to the police department, under the Safe City Project, more than 150 high-resolution cameras have been installed at various locations across the city. These cameras are playing a vital role in traffic management, crime prevention, and timely response to emergency situations.
Deputy Commissioner Mir Raza Ozgan directed that advanced technology and effective use of data must be ensured to further improve city security and traffic management.
During the visit, the Safe City Incharge and other relevant officers were also present. The Deputy Commissioner praised the performance of the Safe City Project staff, stating that the initiative is providing citizens with a safer and more secure environment.
