PESHAWAR : The Pakistan Culture, Tourism and Arts Organization (PICTO) has entrusted three talented, dynamic and experienced women with important responsibilities to further strengthen and make its organizational structure more effective and inclusive. On behalf of Chairman Javed Aziz Khalji, the Executive Body and Naz Parveen, Ms. Fatima Afzal has been appointed Advisor for Tourism, Mrs. Joyce Rubina Advisor for Minority Affairs, and Ms. Rubina Moeen Advisor for Religious Affairs.
According to PICTO, the three appointments mark an important step toward translating the organization’s vision and objectives into practical initiatives. The appointments aim to further activate a strong and inclusive national platform for the promotion of Pakistan’s culture, tourism, arts, literature, religious tolerance, interfaith harmony and minority communities.
Fatima Afzal’s services, experience and capabilities in the field of tourism will help expand PICTO’s tourism vision and promote Pakistan’s tourist destinations at both national and international levels. Similarly, Joyce Rubina’s inclusion as Advisor for Minority Affairs has been described as a positive step toward promoting mutual respect, tolerance and harmony among different religious and minority communities.
The appointment of Rubina Moeen as Advisor for Religious Affairs also reflects PICTO’s commitment to promoting religious tolerance and interfaith harmony, while preserving and highlighting Pakistan’s diverse religious and cultural heritage.
The organization’s leadership stated that the process of including prominent, talented and experienced individuals from different fields in PICTO is continuing, with the objective of bringing together diverse skills and experiences to build an effective national platform.
Chairman Javed Aziz Khalji and the Executive Body expressed hope that the three newly appointed advisors would utilize their expertise, experience and leadership qualities to play an active role in achieving PICTO’s objectives. They also expressed confidence that their efforts would further strengthen initiatives aimed at highlighting Pakistan’s positive image, culture, tourism, arts, literature, traditions and national heritage around the world.
PICTO congratulated the three women on their new responsibilities and extended its best wishes to them. The organization also reiterated its commitment to further expanding its activities for the promotion of national culture, tourism, arts and heritage.
