PSC Promotes Dr. Khan Faqir, Dr. Tariq Amin

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Study Centre (PSC), University of Peshawar, has promoted Dr. Khan Faqir to Associate Professor and Dr. Tariq Amin to Assistant Professor on the recommendations of the Centre’s Board of Governors.

Dr. Khan Faqir, formerly an Assistant Professor at the Centre, holds a PhD in History and has over 18 years of teaching and research experience. His research focuses on Pakistan’s constitutional and judicial history, governance, human rights and institutional development. He has published more than 50 research papers and supervised MPhil and PhD scholars.

Dr. Tariq Amin, who has served as a lecturer at the Centre since 2015, was promoted in recognition of his teaching, research and academic contributions.

Director Pakistan Study Centre Prof. Dr. Shahbaz Khan, faculty members, staff and students congratulated both academics and expressed the hope that they would continue contributing to teaching, research and the academic development of the Centre.
