ISLAMABAD: Dr Zaheer Abbas Chohan has successfully completed and defended his PhD research titled “Role of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Regional Security and Integration of Central Asia: Lessons for South Asia” at the International Islamic University Islamabad.
The research was supervised by Professor Dr Manzoor Khan Afridi. The external examiners were Prof. Dr Muhammad Nadeem Mirza of Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and Prof. Dr Adam Saud of Bahria University Islamabad, while Dr Nazim Rahim served as the internal examiner.
Dr Zaheer Abbas Chohan belongs to Ranjali village, Tehsil Gujar Khan. His successful PhD defense was warmly congratulated by Imtiaz Rasool Bhatti and Chaudhry Qasim Basharat, who expressed their best wishes for his future academic and professional endeavors.
