Rustam Meeting Reviews Preparations for Sept 27 Long March

RUSTAM: A consultative meeting to review preparations for the September 27 long march was held at the hujra of Amir Sohail Khan in Kamargai, Rustam, under the chairmanship of Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Population Welfare, Tufail Anjum.

A large number of office-bearers from PK-55 Tehsil Rustam, village councils, the Tehsil Rustam Youth Wing and party workers attended the meeting.

The participants announced that they would participate in the September 27 long march in large numbers, reiterating their demand for the release of their leader Imran Khan, supremacy of law and what they described as “real freedom.”

They said arrangements, including transportation, had been completed to facilitate workers’ participation in the march.

The participants reiterated that they would continue their political struggle until Imran Khan’s release.

The meeting also condemned the alleged abduction of Amir Ejaz Khan Advocate, General Secretary of the Insaf Lawyers Forum Peshawar Region. The participants demanded his immediate recovery and said protests would be launched if he was not recovered.
