BAJAUR: District Police Officer (DPO) Bajaur Khan Zeb Mehmood conducted surprise visits to various police posts in areas bordering Afghanistan and within the jurisdiction of Salarzai Police Station. During the visits, he reviewed the duties and performance of police personnel, as well as the existing security arrangements, and directed officials to take effective measures to prevent crime and eliminate drug trafficking.
During the visits, the DPO inspected security arrangements around the police posts and instructed personnel to remain vigilant in view of the prevailing situation, closely monitor suspicious individuals and activities, and further improve patrolling and checking mechanisms.
Khan Zeb Mehmood emphasized the need for indiscriminate legal action against drug dealers and individuals involved in other criminal activities. He said that maintaining law and order throughout the district, ensuring effective surveillance of border areas, and protecting the lives and property of the public remain the top priorities of Bajaur Police.
He also directed police and security personnel to perform their duties with mutual cooperation, professional competence, and vigilance, emphasizing that all possible measures must be taken to provide a safe environment for the public.
