MARDAN: The Departments of Mathematics and Physics at Women University Mardan jointly organized a heartfelt event to celebrate Teachers’ Day 2025, paying tribute to the invaluable role of teachers in shaping minds and nurturing future generations.
The event was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, and Prof. Dr. Minhaj ul Hassan, Vice Chancellor of City University of Science and Information Technology (CUSIT), Peshawar, who attended as Chief Guest.
In his inspiring address, Prof. Dr. Minhaj ul Hassan eloquently reflected on the true essence of teaching and the profound responsibilities carried by educators. The audience was equally moved by Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana’s heartfelt remarks, as she shared memorable experiences from her own teaching journey and emphasized the importance of dedication, empathy, and mentorship in academia.
The highlight of the ceremony was the touching gesture by students, who presented handmade cards and flowers to the Vice Chancellor, Chief Guest, Heads of Departments, and faculty members — a beautiful expression of gratitude and respect that added warmth and joy to the celebration.
The event concluded with words of appreciation from the organizing departments and a collective acknowledgment of the teachers’ unwavering commitment to academic excellence and student growth.
