MARDAN: The Department of Psychology, Women University Mardan (Bakhshali Campus) organized an event to commemorate World Mental Health Day 2025, aimed at promoting mental well-being and awareness among students and staff.
The event was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, as Chief Guest. The program was held under the supervision of Dr. Rabia Amjad, Head of the Department of Psychology, and coordinated by Mr. Muhammad Kamran, Campus Coordinator.
The event featured inspirational speeches, awareness skits, and a campus walk, emphasizing the importance of mental health and self-care. Various informative stalls and psychological test stations were also set up by students, offering participants the opportunity to engage in interactive activities and gain insights into mental wellness, coping strategies, and emotional resilience.
Students appreciated the collaborative efforts of their psychology teachers and peers, who worked together seamlessly to make the event a success. They expressed gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to making the occasion memorable.
Special thanks were extended to the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, for her presence and continuous support, as well as to the faculty members of the Department of Psychology for their dedication and commitment.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge to continue raising awareness and fostering a culture of care, empathy, and psychological well-being within the university.
