Staff Report
Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff, reviewed the passing out parade at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, and delivered an address congratulating graduating cadets of the 152nd PMA Long Course, 71st Integrated Course, 26th Lady Cadet Course, and 37th Technical Graduate Course. Cadets from friendly countries — including Bangladesh, Iraq, Mali, Maldives, Nigeria, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka and Yemen — also completed their training.
The COAS praised the professionalism, discipline and high standards displayed by the cadets and extended special congratulations to the award winners. He paid tribute to mentors, families and the Academy’s long tradition of producing disciplined and committed officers.
Highlighting recent military operations, Field Marshal Munir said Pakistan’s Armed Forces have defended the country with “unflinching resolve,” citing decisive actions that strengthened national confidence and unity. He described Pakistan as a net regional stabilizer, underscored growing ties with regional and global partners — including China, Saudi Arabia and renewed engagement with the United States — and emphasised Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for Palestine and peace in Gaza.
The COAS warned against aggression in a nuclearized environment and urged dialogue on core issues on the basis of equality and mutual respect, famously stating there is “No Space for War.” He also condemned the use of proxies and sanctuaries for terrorism, calling on Afghanistan to rein in elements using its soil to target Pakistan.
Addressing the new officers, he reminded cadets of their duty to the nation, the importance of intellectual readiness, technological adaptability and ethical leadership, and the unbreakable bond between the Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan. He paid tribute to martyrs and appealed for continued national unity and resolve.
Field Marshal Munir concluded by congratulating the newly commissioned officers, their families and mentors, invoking the Quaid’s exhortation to serve and sacrifice for Pakistan, and wishing the graduates success in their service.
Pakistan Armed Forces Zindabad!
Pakistan Hameesha Paindadabad.
