MARDAN: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan, Rabnawaz Khan, has reaffirmed that ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property remains the police’s top priority. He emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy against corruption has been enforced, and all transfers and postings will be made strictly on merit, free from political influence.
Speaking to media representatives at his office, RPO Rabnawaz Khan stated that subordinate officers have been directed not to register unnecessary cases merely for performance statistics but to focus efforts on apprehending genuine offenders, particularly drug dealers.
He announced that the police will identify and target drug hotspots, working in collaboration with Police Public Liaison Committees to eliminate this social menace from the district.
RPO Rabnawaz Khan noted that serving in Mardan, his hometown, is both an honor and a responsibility, and he remains committed to upholding merit, justice, and professionalism in all police operations.
He added that Mardan Police continue to perform their duties with integrity and dedication, and steps are underway to improve traffic management and repair malfunctioning cameras under the Safe City Project to enhance the overall law and order situation in the district.
