Syed Fakhar Jihan takes oath as KP minister, vows to Serve People

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Syed Fakhar Jihan on Friday, formally took oath as a Provincial Minister at a ceremony held at the Governor’s House, in Peshawar.

Expressing his gratitude after the oath-taking, the Minister extended heartfelt thanks to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan,Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mohammad Sohail Afridi and party chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan for reposing their trust in him and re-inducting him into the provincial cabinet.

He said that the renewed responsibility was a matter of great pride not only for the people of Buner but also for the dedicated workers of the party.

Recalling his previous tenure, Syed Fakhar Jihan said that he had devoted his full energy and passion to the portfolio of Sports and Youth Affairs, which earned him the confidence and appreciation of the people.

He added that he would continue to maintain the same spirit and performance in his newly assigned ministerial responsibilities.

The Provincial Minister also thanked his constituents and party workers for their unwavering support and trust, which enabled him to serve the people.

He reaffirmed his commitment to justify the confidence of the PTI leadership, saying that he was grateful to Imran Khan and Chief Minister Mohammad Sohail Afridi for their trust on him.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him strength and determination to fulfill his new duties with renewed dedication and enthusiasm.
