PESHAWAR: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar and the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at the Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (CAS-E), UET Peshawar.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Sadiq Khattak, Vice Chancellor UET Peshawar, and Mr. Muhammad Zubair Khan, Secretary Energy and Power Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the presence of Mr. Syed Habib Ullah Shah, CEO PEDO, along with senior officials from both organizations.
This collaboration aims to strengthen research, technology development, and capacity building in the field of renewable energy across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Key areas of cooperation include research and innovation, project access, field training, technical capacity building, policy development, and commercialization to promote sustainable energy solutions in the region.
