PESHAWAR :The inter-degree colleges tug-of-war competition concluded with an exciting final, where Government College Peshawar emerged victorious, defeating Government Degree College Superior Science College by 3–0 to claim the championship trophy.
The closing ceremony was attended by President Provincial Tug-of-War Association Syed Asghar Ali Shah as the chief guest, who distributed trophies and prizes among the winning teams and players.
Also present on the occasion were Head of HP Department Arshid Hussain, DPE Zafar Iqbal, Lecturer Fahad Kamal, Nasir Ali, and Chairman Provincial Tug-of-War Association Taj Muhammad.
In the semi-finals, Government Degree College Peshawar advanced to the final by defeating Hayatabad Degree College with a score of 3–0, while Government Degree College Superior Science College Peshawar secured their place in the final after overcoming Government Degree College Badhaber by 2–1.
The event concluded in a festive spirit, celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and the growing enthusiasm for traditional sports among college students.
