PESHAWAR: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan and Institute of Management Sciences (IM | Sciences) Peshawar to strengthen collaboration in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization.
The agreement aims to foster joint research, faculty development, student skill enhancement, and industry linkages, while promoting innovation-driven solutions and supporting a vibrant startup ecosystem across the region.
Under this partnership, UET Mardan will focus on the design, development, and prototyping of indigenous engineering and technology solutions, while IM | Sciences will lead business development, marketing, and commercialization efforts. Both institutions will share laboratories, digital resources, and incubation facilities to facilitate joint programs and projects.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Gul Muhammad Khan, Vice Chancellor, UET Mardan, and Dr. Usman Ghani, Director, IM | Sciences Peshawar.
This strategic collaboration marks an important milestone toward bridging the gap between technology and business innovation, empowering students, faculty, and entrepreneurs to transform ideas into impactful, market-ready solutions that contribute to regional economic growth.
