UPPER DIRIT: The police have continued their crackdown against drug peddlers and arms exhibitors under the vision of District Police Officer Upper Dir, Aslam Nawaz, to create a “Crime-Free Society”
During various operations, the Sheringal, police have recovered 187 grams of charas from the possession of accused Arshad Umar, son of Syed Umar, resident of Shat Kas, and 130 grams of charas from accused Muhsin, son of Bukhtazib, resident of Dog Pyan.
The police also recovered one illegal pistol with 2 magazines and 10 cartridges from accused Noor Islam, son of Sher Alam Khan, resident of Patao Roghanu Kala.

Cases have been registered against the arrested accused at the Sheringal police station, and further investigation is underway. The DPO Dir Upper appreciated the police team and stated that the eradication of drugs is our top priority. The Upper Dir, police are taking all possible measures to protect the younger generation from this menace. Aslam has said that the zero-tolerance policy against drug peddlers and arms exhibitors will continue to be implemented strictly.
