Squash legend Qamar Zaman presents Pride of Performance Trophy to Dawood Khan -

Peshawar (Sports Reporter) Former squash champion and chairman of the provincial squash association Qamar Zaman yesterday presented the Pride of Performance Trophy given by the Pakistan Squash Federation to the president of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association Dawood Khan. On this occasion, president Dawood Khan and Qamar Zaman also distributed squash rackets to the best squash players. Talking to the media on this occasion, the president of the provincial squash association Dawood Khan said that our junior players are performing well at the international level and behind this is hard work day and night. We started working from the grassroots level and today our players are making the country and nation famous all over the world and this trend will continue in the future. He said that with the efforts of Qamar Zaman and his team, we were given the Pride of Performance Trophy for the seventh time by the Pakistan Squash Federation, which is a great honor. He said that twenty-six tournaments are being organized annually. And we are working hard under your help, while we have not received any grant for more than five years. He said that inter-schools, colleges, and universities are also conducting and we are getting good players. He said that the number of girls players has especially increased and girls are also showing good performance. Squash legend Qamar Zaman congratulated the President of the Association, Dawood Khan, and said that it is the result of his efforts that the Federation has honored us again and we will continue to work hard in the future.
