PESHAWAR: Hamidullah, winner of the Kickboxing World Cup held in Azerbaijan, called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House Peshawar. The young athlete was accompanied by his father, Waizullah.
Appreciating Hamidullah’s outstanding success on the global stage, the Governor said that such young athletes present a positive image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan to the world.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the promotion of sports, youth empowerment, and measures to take the province’s talent to the international level. Governor Faisal Karim Kundi remarked that athletes are the true ambassadors of the country, who strengthen Pakistan’s identity through their hard work and performance.
He added that the young heroes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have consistently brought pride to the nation and the government will continue to extend full support to emerging athletes.
Hamidullah expressed gratitude to the Governor for his support and encouragement for sports. He said the Governor has won the hearts of players and youth across the province by organizing the first-ever Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Award Show.
