KP Secures 48 Medals at 35th National Games

KARACHI: In the 35th National Games, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa athletes continued their strong performance, raising the province’s total medal tally to 48, including 5 gold, 10 silver, and 33 bronze medals.

KP registered another impressive day in women’s squash, securing two silver and one bronze medal. In the individual final held at the Jahangir Khan Squash Academy, Army’s Zainab Khan clinched the gold medal after defeating KP’s Mah Noor Ali 1–3, while Mah Noor Ali earned the silver.

In the women’s team squash event, the Army secured the gold, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa claimed silver, and Balochistan and Punjab shared the bronze.

In weightlifting, KP’s Qasim Tasneem won a bronze medal in the 71 kg category. The province also added another bronze in the men’s individual badminton competitions.

With these victories, the total number of medals won by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reached 48, marking a notable performance by the athletes at this year’s National Games.
