Staff Reporter

Rawalpindi: Political and social leader Chaudhry Inaam Zafar strongly condemned the alleged death threats against Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir on PTI’s social media accounts and protests against the Pakistan Armed Forces. He said PTI must immediately apologize to the army and the nation and issue a clear condemnation of such actions. He termed protests outside the Pakistani Consulate in Bradford and threats against the Army Chief as an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty, adding that PTI appears to have learned no lesson from the May 9 events.

Chaudhry Inam Zafar stated that the nation is indebted to the Pakistan Armed Forces for defending the country and fighting terrorism, praising General Asim Munir’s leadership. He said the Awaam Pakistan Party’s leadership and workers strongly condemn PTI’s actions. He added that at a time when Pakistan faces terrorism, economic weakness, inflation, and unemployment, such actions raise serious questions about Pti’s political judgment. He concluded that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army.
