PESHAWAR: A delegation of Blind Cricket Club Peshawar led by President Habibullah Khattak met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House Peshawar. During the meeting, various issues related to the promotion of blind cricket, including the organization of a blind cricket match in Peshawar, were discussed in detail.
The delegation apprised the Governor about the problems faced by blind cricket players, especially issues related to employment and other facilities in federal departments. On this occasion, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi encouraged the blind cricket players and said that players with special abilities are a valuable asset of the country and their welfare is among the priorities of the government.
The Governor assured the delegation that talks will be held with the relevant institutions to resolve the problems of blind cricket players in federal departments and all possible cooperation will be provided in this regard. He also assured full support for organizing a blind cricket match in Peshawar, saying that such sports competitions not only promote positive activities but also lead to harmony and encouragement in the society.
