Brikot: Rescue 1122 Swat spokesperson Niaz Muhammad said that under the instructions of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the supervision of District Emergency Officer Rafiullah Marwat, Rescue 1122 Swat provided emergency facilities to the public in a timely and safe manner throughout the district during the year 2025.
According to the spokesperson, in the year 2025, Rescue 1122 Swat received 13,395 genuine emergency calls to which an immediate response was given. These included 11,114 medical emergencies, 1,283 road traffic accidents, 353 fire incidents, 416 other and recovery operations, 147 shooting and violence incidents, 45 drowning incidents, 23 flood emergencies, 9 building collapse/mining incidents and 5 cylinder explosions.
Niaz Muhammad said that rescue teams safely rescued 15,828 people throughout the year, while 124 people died due to various accidents. The control room received a total of 154,852 calls in the year 2025, including 47,580 information calls and 93,877 drop calls.
Under the Health Emergency Service, 4,631 patients were transferred to Swat district and 317 outside the district, and a total of 4,948 patients were provided with safe medical facilities.
The spokesperson said that the personnel of Rescue 1122 Swat ensured the safety of the lives and property of the people in every difficult situation with professionalism, quick response and the spirit of public service and will continue to serve the people with the same determination in the future as well.
