Asian champions Pakistan U-19 team will on Zimbabwe U-19 team in the final at Old Harare Stadium, Harare today for another title.

The final of the tri-nation series between Pakistan U-19 and Zimbabwe U-19 will be played today at Old Harare Arena, Harare. Pakistan recently defeated India by 191 runs to win the ACC U-19 Asia Cup in Dubai. The tri-nation last League match between the two teams was incomplete due to rain. Pakistan batted first and were bowled out for 208 runs. Sameer Minhas scored 48 and Usman Khan scored 41 runs. Pakistan defeated Afghanistan twice and Zimbabwe defeated Afghanistan under19 once in the series. Both the matches between Zimbabwe and Pakistan U-19 teams were incomplete due to rain. After four matches of the group stage of this tri-nation series, Sameer Minhas is at the top of the batting table. He scored 246 runs. His best innings was 142 runs and his average was 61.50. He scored a century and a half-century. Vice-captain Usman Khan scored 225 runs at an average of 56.25. His best innings was 121 runs. He scored a century. In third place, Afghanistan’s Usman Saadat scored 130 runs at an average of 43.33. His best innings was 75 runs. In fourth place, Afghanistan’s Mehboob Khan scored 127 runs at an average of 42.33. In fifth place, Pakistan’s captain Farhan Yousuf scored 100 runs at an average of 25. His best innings was 65 runs. In bowling, Afghanistan’s Salam Khan dismissed 14 players at an average of 9.64. His best bowling was four wickets for eleven runs. In second place, Zimbabwe’s P Mazai took six wickets at an average of 13.83. His best bowling was four wickets for 32 runs. In third place was Pakistan’s Omar Zeb, who scored 14.80. He dismissed five players at an average of 31 runs. The best bowling was five wickets for 31 runs. Captain Farhan Yousuf said that the three-nation series gave us the opportunity to prepare well for the Under-19 World Cup. Playing against the host team in the final will be a challenge.
