PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tennis Association launched a Junior Tennis Training Camp at the Peshawar Sports Complex on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, aimed at nurturing young tennis talent in the province.
Renowned tennis legend and star Ahsan Ul Haq Qureshi extended his support to the initiative by providing tennis balls to the K.P. Tennis Association, sponsoring the training camp for junior players.
The camp was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Kashif Farhan, Regional Sports Officer (RSO). Other notable attendees included Yousaf Afridi, Administrator Peshawar Sports Complex; Umar Ayaz Khalil, Senior Vice President of K.P. Tennis Association; and coaches Noman and Zakir Ullah.
The training camp will continue throughout the holy month of Ramadan and conclude on February 15, 2026. Daily training sessions will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the morning and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the evening.
Senior Vice President Umar Ayaz Khalil, along with participating junior players, expressed sincere gratitude to Ahsan Ul Haq Qureshi for his generous support, terming it a valuable contribution toward the promotion of tennis and youth development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
