ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar briefed probationary officers from various CSS groups on the role and performance of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the context of 5th Generation Warfare.
Addressing the officers, the minister highlighted the evolving nature of modern information challenges and emphasized the ministry’s responsibilities in countering disinformation, promoting the national narrative, and ensuring timely and credible dissemination of information. He underscored the importance of coordination among state institutions to effectively respond to emerging information threats.
Secretary Information and Broadcasting Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil and Principal Information Officer for the Government of Pakistan Mobashir Hasan were also present on the occasion.
