PESHAWAR: Tanveer Ali has successfully defended his M.Phil thesis titled “The Determinants of Poverty in the Merged Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: A Case Study of District Orakzai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”
He completed his research under the supervision of Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Jan, Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar. The external examiner for the thesis defense was Dr. Fariha Sami, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar.
The viva voce was attended by Dr. Naila Nazir, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Syed Mohsin Shujaat, faculty members of the department, and students of the Department of Economics.
