KARACHI: Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited (ABPL) has marked a significant milestone in its digital transformation journey with the inauguration of its Digital Hub (Design Lab) and Digital Auto Finance, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to innovation, customer convenience, and Shariah-compliant financial solutions.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Syed Sohail Javaad, Executive Director (Digital Financial Services Group), State Bank of Pakistan, Muhammad Atif Hanif, CEO of Al Baraka Bank, senior management, and esteemed guests from SBP, business, academia, technology, and the financial industry. Notable attendees included Faisal Mazhar (Head of Innovation, SBP), Najeeb Agrawalla (CEO, 1Link), Omer Ahmed Khan (CEO, Avanza Solutions), Umar Ahsan Khan (CEO, Dawlance), Naveed Sharif (CEO, Unikrew Solutions), Muhammad Mairaj Yousuf (GM, Systems Limited), Lubna Ahmed (Director, Industry Relations, Habib University), and Muhammad Qaiser (Financial Controller, Master Changan Motors).
The Digital Hub is a centralized ecosystem designed to foster collaboration in digital innovation, design, and transformation, enabling the Bank to deliver enhanced customer experiences, faster service delivery, and seamless access to its expanding portfolio of digital Islamic banking products.
The newly launched Digital Auto Finance facility allows customers to apply for auto financing through the Al Baraka Mobile Banking App and website, offering a streamlined, paperless, and Shariah-compliant process. The facility is designed to significantly reduce processing time while ensuring compliance with Islamic financing principles.
Al Baraka Bank continues to invest in technology and innovation while remaining committed to its core values of customer centricity, integrity, Shariah compliance, and trust.
