The All Artists Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has formally established a Women’s Wing to ensure effective representation and resolution of issues faced by women artists. In this regard, a ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Provincial President Saeeda Khan.
The event was attended by Patron-in-Chief Bilal Khan alias Bebo, Vice President Fazal Khaliq, General Secretary Khushhal Haider, Press Secretary Shakeel Ahmed, Finance Secretary Majnoon Sarhadi, Akbar Ali, District President Charsadda Kamran and General Secretary Rehman, Nowshera President Jalil Shabnam, along with Nadra Ali, Kiran Ali, Reema Khan, Ibrahim Sada Gul, Gul Bacha, Ali, Malangi Mola Jatt, and other artists.
During the ceremony, Nadra Ali was appointed as President of the Women’s Wing, Reema Khan as Vice President, and Kiran Ali as General Secretary. All office bearers and participants congratulated the newly appointed women leaders and extended their best wishes.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial President of the All Artists Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Saeeda Khan, said that the establishment of the Women’s Wing would help resolve the issues of women artists in a better manner, as women understand women’s issues more effectively. She added that women artists would now be able to openly share their concerns with the women’s cabinet.
She further stated that serving every artist—whether male or female—is the top priority of the Association, and all issues will be resolved through mutual consultation and unity. She reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to safeguarding artists’ rights and working for their welfare.
