MALAKAND: Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Muhammad Humayun Khan, has termed the establishment of Zeb Tech Technical & Vocational Institute, Malakand, as a revolutionary and historic initiative for women empowerment. He said the institute will provide completely free and modern technical and professional training to women from Malakand and adjoining areas, enabling them to become economically self-reliant.
Muhammad Humayun Khan stated that the institute will equip women with advanced digital, technical, handicraft, and business-related skills, paving the way for dignified employment and meaningful participation in the national economy.
He said the institute will offer the following free courses for women:
Digital and IT Skills:
Computer operations, graphic designing, web designing, digital marketing, freelancing (online work), and data entry.
Handicraft and Skill-Based Training:
Stitching, embroidery and fashion designing, beautician and beauty therapy, jewelry making, and handicrafts.
Technical Skills:
Electronics and mobile repairing, electrical work, HVAC, home appliances repair, and office automation.
Business and Professional Skills:
Office management, basic accounting, entrepreneurship, communication skills, and customer service.
Muhammad Humayun Khan emphasized that these courses will open new employment avenues for women, help them achieve financial independence, and enable them to start online work or small-scale businesses from home. He noted that the initiative will improve household livelihoods and contribute to broader social and economic development.
He paid rich tribute to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his women-friendly policies, stating that the Pakistan Peoples Party has always taken practical steps for women’s education, skills development, and empowerment, and will continue this mission with full resolve.
The PPP leader also expressed special gratitude to the PPP Sindh Government, terming the approval of a Girls Technical & Vocational Institute in Malakand as a commendable move. He said this reflects strong inter-provincial cooperation and the party’s practical vision for women welfare and empowerment across Pakistan.
