PESHAWAR: Northwest School of Medicine warmly welcomed its newly admitted first-year Batch-10 MBBS students for the 2025–26 academic session through a dignified White Coat Ceremony held on February 15, 2026. The event marked an important milestone in the academic and professional journey of the new medical students.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Sardar M. Alam, Chairman, Board of Alliance Healthcare (Pvt. Ltd.), Prof. Dr. Amir Khan, Principal, Northwest School of Medicine, Dr. Sidra Jabbar Khan, Dean MPED, and Prof. Dr. Abid Hussain, Vice Principal Academics. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilqis Hassan and other faculty members also attended the event and warmly welcomed the new entrants.
Prof. Dr. Abid Hussain administered the professional oath to the students, symbolizing their commitment to medical ethics, compassion, and excellence in healthcare. The chief guest and distinguished speakers shared valuable insights and words of encouragement, motivating the students as they embark on their academic and professional careers.
The ceremony concluded with a group photograph of the students alongside the Chairman, Principal, and faculty members. Adding a heartfelt touch to the occasion, second-year students presented special gifts to the new batch, making the event memorable and marking the beginning of a promising future in the field of medicine.
