Peshawar: Friends of Paraplegics (FoP) in collaboration with Zakat Foundation of America (ZFA), has launched the Ramadan Ration Program for deserving persons with disabilities (PwDs) in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which is being successfully implemented.
Ration packages were distributed among 100 PwDs of Peshawar, Khyber and Nowshera districts at the Paraplegic Center Peshawar the other day.
This initiative is a manifestation of the commitment of Zakat Foundation of America and Friends of Paraplegics to serve the needy PwDs and provide them with facilities during the holy month of Ramadan.
Sanaullah Khan, Chairman, and Engr Irfanullah, General Secretary, of the organization, while handing over the Ramadan packages to the beneficiaries, appealed to the philanthropists to join hands with them in this noble cause and contribute to the welfare of more individuals with disabilities.
