Today, the great Iran stands and resists against Israel, which kills children, and against the hegemonic policies of the United States government—on behalf of all the oppressed and suffering people of the world.
Today’s war is a battle between Good and Evil. In this struggle, the front line is not only the military battlefields, but also the defenseless homes of ordinary people, hospitals, and the schools of children who have no shelter except hope.
Despite all the violence and pressure, the people of Iran stand firm. From the leaders and pioneers of this path to innocent elementary school children, all are part of the narrative of the resistance of a nation that has not bowed to pressure. Major global powers have come with all their might to reshape the map of the Middle East, seize the resources and wealth of this region, and expand their domination.
Nevertheless, in these very days, the resistance of the Iranian people and their fighters has shown that the will of a nation can stand even against the greatest powers. History will testify that a nation, with firm determination, unity, and solidarity, was able to resist immense global pressures.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of thinkers, free-spirited individuals, writers, and artists around the world not to remain silent in the face of human suffering, and to defend truth, justice, and human dignity through their pens, thoughts, and art. Today, more than ever, their moral and humanitarian responsibility in the face of oppression and injustice has become clear.
I am certain that across the world many hearts—among the people of different countries—stand in solidarity with the people of Iran, because what this nation seeks nothing but dignity and stance against oppression.
Today is the day for the awakening and rising of free consciences around the world—a day when independent human beings stand against injustice to ensure the human dignity.
